The Brief
Robyn Pearce approached Honeydew Creative with a simple goal: to transform her serene, absolute waterfront accommodation into a digital retreat that mirrored the peace, beauty, and personal warmth guests experience in person. With over 20 years at Clarks Beach, Robyn had the vision — she just needed a website that could capture it.
She wanted a website that felt personal yet professional, was easy to manage herself, and could help potential guests feel the experience before they even booked.
The Design Solution
We crafted a soft, coastal-themed digital space, designed to evoke serenity and connection from the first scroll. The layout is intuitive, with direct booking options, strong visual storytelling, and warm, authentic copy written to echo Robyn’s voice and her guests’ experience.
Key design features include:
Hero section with immersive imagery of the tide, sunsets, and retreat.
Clear pathways to book Kotare Retreat or The Works, complete with detailed descriptions and guest suitability.
Personalised touches, like quotes from Robyn and guest testimonials embedded throughout.

The Accommodation
Clarks Beach Accommodation offers two private, self-contained units right on the waterfront:
Kotare Retreat & Tui Retreat: One bedroom units perfect for solo travellers, couples, or those with a child. Includes a queen bedroom with ensuite, full kitchen, and a lounge with a sofa bed.
The Works: Combines Kotare and Tui adjoining both units for families or groups seeking extra space with even more room to relax.
